FWA’s education pack is a full-colour A3 book with a unique split-page format, which introduces children to concepts of colour, form, line, space, pattern, tone, shape and texture using examples from the work of women artists, both historical and contemporary, from a range of ethnic backgrounds.
It has been piloted in Islington Schools and is available for use in primary schools. Please contact the FWA office if you are interested.
FWA has funding from the Bridge House Trust to publish copies of the Elements of Art Education pack and has received a grant from the Cripplegate Foundation/ Islington Community Chest to employ a part-time, freelance Education Co-ordinator to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of FWA’s Elements of Art education pack in Islington schools.
The Education Co-ordinator is Lala Thorpe, who can be contacted at the FWA office.
