FWA is a charity that aims to increase public knowledge and understanding of the work of women artists, both historic and contemporary. FWA addresses issues of access and diversity through a programme of exhibitions and events, educational activities, research and publications. Through its website, its archive and the knowledge and expertise of its networks, FWA offers information and advice to artists, curators and members of the public nationally and internationally.
